My name is Karin Joyce. I found the love of my life in the arms of an Englishman at the age of 34 which led me to pack up my US existence and relocate to England to begin the best days of my life. We welcomed our daughter Ella into our lives in June of 2008 which is what led to me finally fulfilling my passion to write in the form of my blog, Cafe Bebe in May of 2009.

What originally began as a tale of nappies and sleepless nights has evolved into a part-time job as a freelance blogger and social media maven. Cafe Bebe is about the adventures of 2 parents, a Little Miss and a Bump who will be joining our family before the year is out. In addition to writing my personal blog, I am an editorial team member of BritMums and have worked with a variety of PR's and organisations on social media management and freelance writing projects. Mixed up with it all, I am an American expat, doing my best to share my cultural differences with my family and the blogosphere. I have a strong reputation on Twitter with my personal account (@cafebebe) and am very active in the parent blogging community. My blog, Cafe Bebe, is currently ranked number 9 on the Wikio Parent blog chart.

What's normal for one person is completely abnormal to another. What's necessary for many may not be necessary...
