Cricket was forced into my sub conscious as child and like many, my fondest memories are Ashes based. My fathers refusal to put He-Man on because he was watching the Ashes and the cartoon duck quacking across the screen as another England batsman wandered back to the pavilion. My love was cemented watching Andrew Flintoff smashing the South African attack around Lords in 2003, eventually holding his bat split in two aloft, probably saying I have the power, while some sunburned drunks behind chanted Pollock is a ginger for 8 hours straight.

Since then I have been contributing to the blogosphere via my own blog The Wrong 'Un, tweeting the odd sarcastic comment and occasionally contributing as a guest blogger to other sites like World Cricket Watch.
