Leila Haghighat is currently studying for her medical degree. Last year, she was one of fourteen American students awarded with a Churchill Scholarship to study at the University of Cambridge, where she completed an M.Phil in Clinical Science.

When she is not dissecting lab specimens or her own lecture notes, Leila can be found en face her laptop, writing at the nearest café. She has actively written for student publications since the age of ten and recently completed a work experience at the London offices of Nature.
