My name is Leon Purvis and I am a HUGE boy belieber. I have been following you since your YouTube days and I will continue to follow you until the end! I have everything you've ever released on my iPod from iTunes and I have every CD.
I love being able to see the way you inspired others around the world and how you did not give up on your dreams. You really inspired me to follow my dreams and Never Say Never. Since I admire you as an idol and what you do, I realised that you wouldn't ever be a normal teenager ever again.
That means you can't experience normal high school teenage things like powder puff football, homecoming, school events, and especially PROM. I know that prom in America is a HUGE deal and kids all over America look forward to it. I am pretty sure you would like to take Selena Gomez to prom and have that high school prom experience. That is why I am inviting you to go to my 2012 junior prom on 2 June, 2012 with me, but as a bro of course! That means it would sort of be like a double date, cool right? I have a girl in mind that I would like to go to prom with, but I have not asked her yet.
I came up with the idea to ask you to my 2012 junior prom as a bro last year on 3 June, 2011. I was a sophomore in high school back then and majority of the student body at my high school knew I was a HUGE fan of you. They also knew that I made YouTube videos just for fun.
So I was talking to one of my buddies at pre-prom last year and I said to him "Yo I can't wait until our prom next year class of 2013 we are going to go in, who do you plan to ask to prom?"
He said, "I don't know yet!" I said, "I know who I am going to ask to prom." (Now at the time I was thinking of asking the girl I really like to prom) And my buddy jokingly said "Who Justin Bieber?!" then I replied "You know what? Maybe I should consider doing that!"
That following weekend I made a YouTube video asking you, Justin Bieber, to prom as a bro. Then on 10 June, 2011 I uploaded the YouTube video Guy Asks Justin Bieber To Prom.
Many people including the world wide media think it is a very great thing that I am giving you the chance to have a normal night as a normal teen at prom. That celebrity life must get stressful right?
Ryan Seacrest said on his radio show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, that he would go if he were you. The student body and staff at my high school are supporting me and backing me up with this prom invitation 100%. Either way I am not giving up on this because you, Justin Bieber, did in fact say "Follow your dreams and never say never!"
So Justin... will you go to prom with me as a bro? It's a double date, don't forget that!
