Lucy has been in Beirut for nearly two years and still has problems counting to 10 in Arabic; but between exploring the Lebanese countryside and avoiding roads blocked with burning tires, she’s still found time to write for various publications in the region, covering culture, society and travel, with a splash of comedy thrown into the mix.

Thus, she knows the location of every free cocktail party and tree planting gathering in the country. Lucy is currently a freelance writer and editor, formerly a section editor at Time Out Beirut, and before leaving London she was an assistant producer for BBC radio.
