IT'S HERE: FIFA 17

Today is the day! The highly-anticipated FIFA 17 was released overnight and is now available throughout the UK. Below, we've got all the details on the new game and where you can get it, as well as details of a brand new service that can help if your skills aren't up to scratch...

Highlights

As well as a much-needed update to the graphics and newly intelligent gameplay, players can now enjoy The Journey, a new story mode where you can play beyond the pitch. Take control of new recruit Alex Hunter right him from the beginning of his career. Every decision you make will have consequences, both on and off the field. How you play and how you react will shape Alex's personality, relationships and ultimately his career and success. This is really a new direction for the game, entering into RPG territory, and to great success according to the reviews so far.

Where to buy

If you haven't got your hands on it yet, FIFA 17 is available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3 at all good stores, or you can find it online for slightly cheaper if you can wait for the delivery time.

You can buy the standard edition for any console online from Argos for £45.99, but the cheapest we've found is £40: available at Amazon for £40 with free delivery (or the deluxe edition for £59.99), or from Tesco Direct, with free next day Click and Collect or free delivery. Alternatively, you can download the game from GAME immediately for £42.99, and they'll throw in a £15 NOW TV pass for free. In store, you can pick it up in store from GAME for £45.99 and get the same NOW TV deal. Elsewhere, John Lewis are selling it for £42, compared to Currys, selling it for £44.99. Both are also offering various package deals including the game and the console.

If you're not ready to buy the game yet, you can check out some of the features on the free demo, available to download online here or via your console.

FIFA coaching

Due to popular demand, Tavistock Tutors are offering FIFA coaching for motivated players that need a bit of extra support. Tuition allows you one-on-one attention from a seasoned expert, and is often just the push students need to achieve your goals (pun intended).

FIFA coaches will come to you, so you can learn in the comfort of your own home (and without the prying eyes of your mates). Coaches can work with all consoles, and will bring a full support kit: two ice cold bottles of water, two headbands and two wristbands to keep the sweat out of your eyes so you can focus on the console.

Tavistock Tutors is an education company based in Central London offering tuition and education consulting to students at all levels and across a wide range of topics, both academic and non-academic.
