Assistant Keeper at the British Museum (1967-1973) working on research for The Sutton Hoo Ship Burial publication and later Head of Public Relations & PR at the British Museum (1973-1983). Married Dr Rupert Bruce-Mitford FBA (1975-1986). Left the BM in 1990 and then subsequently worked in the Fitness Industry and at DCMS. My recreation from 1980-1990 was international competitive womens' bodybuilding. Has lived in Covent Garden since 1985.

I was one of the very first pioneering women bodybuilders from 1981 until 1988, at a time when the sport was virtually unheard of in the UK. I was right in at the start of it all in Britain.
