Mark Braund is CEO of the InterQuest Group plc. Mark has 30 years of sales, marketing & business leadership experience, much of this spent in the recruitment sector, having first begun his career with Manpower. In addition to Mark’s extensive recruitment sector experience, he is also highly experienced in the Technology and Outsourcing arena having spent 13 years with IBM, for whom he was a Director until 1999.

Mark is highly experienced at growing businesses, having founded and developed Barker Personnel Services into a highly successful recruitment organisation, before overseeing their sale to the Carlisle Group in 2000. Recognised for his abilities in business restructuring and turnaround, Mark has successfully implemented strategies and overseen major turnaround projects with recruitment organisations Lorien Plc and TAC Europe. Prior to Mark’s appointment at InterQuest he was based in North America as Executive Vice President responsible for all operations at First Advantage Inc., a global employer solutions organisation. Since being appointed CEO of InterQuest in 2011 Mark has overseen a large-scale restructuring of the Group, taking it from being a group of general independent recruitment businesses to being a single established recruitment brand with fast growing specialist divisions focused on high growth analytics & technology markets.
