Mark is Director of Communications at the 1994 Group, which represents 15 of the UK’s leading universities.

One of the most influential voices in higher education (HE) policy, the Group works to promote excellence in university teaching and research.

Mark leads on all aspects of the Group’s external relations work, helping to build relationships with figures within and beyond the higher education sector as well as raising the media profile of the Group’s policy priorities.

Most recently Mark has developed the 1994 Group Policy Forum, which is bringing together a variety of policy innovators to address issues around the student experience.
