Before making the decision to move Ross into a hospice, I was caring for him at home and feeling pretty useless. Being able to allow Ross to be given the care he deserves has allowed me to have some much needed quality time and be free to be his wife, not his carer.

Jesse is very able to socialising and adores other children. But while on holiday, he does comment that he would be having more fun if Skye were with him to play with, but then shows amazing empathy and continues to say "but it is more sad for Skye".

All research advances are to be applauded but we do worse with brain cancer than with other cancers and deaths are on the increase. At the moment only 1% of the national spend on cancer research is allocated to the disease, yet tumours in the brain kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.
