For many the face veil is a symbol of the oppression of women, for others it is a question of religious observance. In court however the question is fairly straight forward: How to achieve a fair trial for both the prosecution and the defence? Judges have to enable witnesses to give their best evidence and juries need to be able to assess those witnesses properly, not from behind fabric.
What a good prenup should mean is that, where a divorce is the only real option, the whole process is handled more quickly, with less fighting, mess and acrimony. If the terms are pre-agreed and legally binding, both parties should have a clearer idea of where they stand and as a result, there should be less to quarrel over.

Some may decide the price is too high and refuse to participate - which is a failure for justice, the 'system' and for society, and offenders will walk free.
