In recent weeks South Korean media has been awash with stories concerning an explosive story; The case of Lee Seok-Gi. The lawmaker has been accused of conspiracy to commit armed rebellion and has labelled a 'jongpuk' (종북 - a derogatory term for a North Korean sympathiser/apologist).
It would seem likely that many have over-estimated the ability of a likely budding cyber program. The North Korean regime is not unlike a multitude of other nations who are all scrambling to acquire necessary cyber capabilities.
Many experts were caught off guard by the surprise launch of the North Korean satellite on the 12 December. Many argued that another attempt to launch the rocket, after the failure in April, would not be until 2013.
