The problem in cases like this isn't always the medium which is used, but the horrid and twisted people who carry out these disgusting acts.

Half our population will have to consider the hazards of launching an entirely legitimate public campaign for fear of receiving nasty threatening messages - and this is a disgrace. We should compare Twitter and other social networking sites with real public places.
