Octopus

There are only three known sites where octopus mothers gather to brood.
Scientists from the Ocean Exploration Trust were excited when their unmanned robotic submersible spotted a rare Dumbo octopus off the Californian shore. Because they live on the ocean floors at depths of 9000 - 13000 feet, the unusual cephalopods are rarely seen. They’re named “Dumbo” after the large ear-like fins on either side of their head.
