Before you raise your expertly plucked eyebrow, please understand I mean that ironically. No-one else expects me to be that toned, honed, all achieving gladiator of a woman, except me. I know I am far from alone in wanting to succeed, to exceed in fact, at everything I do. But despite an 8th day being on my Christmas wish list, last time I checked there were only 7 days in the week.

Anna Campbell

I don't understand why I should not get to choose the type of contract I enter into with my employer - why should the unions and courts decide for me? I'm not a child that needs to be told what's best for me.

I always imagined I'd love being a stay-at-home-mum. Although I've always enjoyed working, and I'm pretty good at it, I've never been what you'd describe as a career girl.
