First thing I have to say, is that the interior and branding is really wonderfully executed, with a very cool vibe, and going a different direction than many of the bubble tea stores. The light grey walls are accented by lovely shades of green, blue, pink and yellow.

I've sometimes toyed with the idea of getting a tattoo, but there's something about the permanency and probably the pain that stops me entering through those parlour doors. However, I recently came across Oliver Sweeney offering the option of getting a tattoo on their shoes, and this instantly seemed like a much more painless option.

The sun has arrived, and a new light is cast into our homes, calling for a fresh look at our interiors. Similar to fashion, it's unlikely that many of us can get a whole new wardrobe each season, so it is all about ways of updating our spaces with small accessories - and perhaps a few big splurges along the way!

This was a very interesting project for me to work on, and a real departure from many of the interiors I have done in the past. The final result stands out in the Wimbledon landscape and lives up to my vision of a traditional meets futuristic dining experience.

Italian cooking is my favourite type of food, pizza and pasta, but tiramisu is not something that normally sends me salivating over the dessert menu.

I would say that I'm one of those people who enjoys cooking, but has never really found the knack of following recipes. Perhaps it's the designer in me, but when I'm left alone in the kitchen, I always have the urge to get creative and result in a recipe far from the picturesque concoction in a recipe book.

Now that Jonathan Adler has settled into the homes of Britain, I for one, am very grateful for the humor and boldness he has brought with him. Long may his free spirited design ethos reign over our interiors, and long may we love our homes as our own.

Something clear when speaking to him, was that this is a brand sweetened with Jamie Laing. From his humour, fun and maybe one or two of his trademark phrases, Candy Kittens is full of life and certainly has plenty more in it. For one week only they have popped up at 261 Kings Road, so pop in and you might even meet the main-man himself.

I was in high school when I first decided that design would be my destination, but my GPS must have been on the blink, because the exact area of design was undetermined. Today, I'm no closer to finding the exact location I fit into, but I have discovered that it's something that doesn't need to be found.

When it's scorching outside, a part of me knows there's a group of very overheated design graduates setting up for yet another year of the New Designers exhibition. Whether it's purely down to the weather or just the 3,500 excited students in one building, the heat is cooled by the refreshing perspective on design that awaits inside.

Ever since the big date in April 2011, we all knew what to expect for 2012's summer of celebrations. Around 12 months ago Britain's memorabilia fire was re-ignited with gold rimmed tea cups, William & Kate tea towels and, of course, bunting galore.
