When I was growing up I thought the sky was the limit. I was lucky. My parents were both entrepreneurs. They instilled in me the knowledge that I could support myself and earn my own money. Now I'm lucky enough to be working with other people hoping to realise the same dream.
It's been a rocky road to get to where I am today, but it's been worth all the sleepless nights and stress. Having a business that has been born out of a love and passion for baking is something that I am extremely proud of.
I reached the dilemma of finding myself at odds with university life but simultaneously not wanting to join the 9-5 rat race. Having saved up £5,000 from my current job, I made the bold move to leave both university and employment to set up my own business and become self-employed.
