Nicola Dandridge, is responsible for the leadership and management of Universities UK, the representative organisation for the UK’s universities. She became Chief Executive of Universities UK in September 2009. She was previously Chief Executive of the Equality Challenge Unit , a higher education agency that works with the sector to promote equality for staff and students. Before joining the Equality Challenge Unit, Nicola was a lawyer qualified in both England and Scotland, initially working in the City as a commercial lawyer then moving to Thompsons Solicitors, a national law firm specialising in equal opportunities and employment law.
Universities UK and BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) are partner organisations in the Universities Week 2012 campaign.

Universities Week is a partnership by Universities UK, the representative organisation for the UK’s universities, and BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport), the national governing body for higher education sport in the UK.
