I’m a soon-to-be Business and Marketing graduate, studying at De Montfort University in Leicester. My aspirations for the future are to move to the city that never sleeps (New York) and work in Marketing or PR, although I am keeping my options open as you never know where life can take you.

So, now I need to tell you a bit about myself.

Ahem, well; I’m an aspiring writer and I am currently working on something that I have yet to assign a title to. I’m also the author of my own blog (www.priyamahida.wordpress.com), where I write blog posts about whatever takes my fancy at the time. In addition to writing, I have a deep obsession with films and you will never catch me without my iPod because I heart music! Finally, I am currently working with the Communications team at Curve theatre and gaining a real insight into the communications activities undertaken by an arts organisation.

Royal DMU: The Day My University Was Brought Together

It is often said that whist people are studying at university they live in their own little 'uni-bubble', and in my opinion this is sort of true. However, whilst most people who use that term mean that university students don't live in the 'real' world, I don't mean it in...

Before I launch straight into this post, I just want to make it clear that I am referring to a variety of different social-networking platforms and not just 'Twitter', as the title might suggest. Ok, now we've got that out of the way, let's move on to what...

I was reading an article towards the end of 2011 which reported that the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) had suggested that unemployment would rise in 2012. As someone who is set to graduate in July (fingers crossed!), I'd be lying if I said that I...

Curve, a theatre located smack-bang in the city centre, provides visitors with an experience usually associated with only some London-based theatres. As you can tell I am a huge fan of the theatre and I was fortunate enough to be able to catch a performance of Curve's production...
