Rachel Hawkes is an account director at Elemental. She delivers consultancy, production work, strategy and account management for a variety of Elemental’s clients and is the co-founder and editor of the Social Media Portal (SMP).

Rachel possesses an extensive background in communications. Her passion though is integrating traditional and digital communications - particularly blogger relations, online PR, social media marketing and community management.

Her experience includes fashion, entertainment, charity, health, banking and tech.

She holds the position of Chair at Verity, a UK charity, where she oversees and undertakes the media and management of the charity; bringing her integrated digital marketing and PR skill sets further the aims of the charity.

Rachel is a regular columnist for industry magazines and is often asked for comment relating to digital communications.
