Rachel is studying for an MSc in Human Rights at the LSE. This is her second year on the NUS National Executive Council (Block of 15), following a year as Communications and Internal Affairs Officer, at Leeds University Union.

She sits as the Anti-fascism Anti-racism Committee Co-convenour for the NEC and also sits on the NUS Women's Campaign Committee.

Today is the start of the National Conference of the National Union of Students. 1,500 delegates will vote in next year's teams of officers.
