Reno was born and bred in the West Midlands, England, where she still lives with her two cats, Amber and Smudge. She does voluntary fundraising for animal rescue charities whenever she is able to and she once spent eight weeks on a reality TV show, Building the Dream on ITV1. She is also a big fan of fantasy and horror, with her all time favourite author being Stephen King.
