Here is the Queen's speech that I would like to see this year.
WE wish you a very merry Christmas and a jolly happy New Year. And I'm letting you in on a little tiny secret: what I'm getting the family.
Now, really I thought they have pretty much everything... and then I thought, I know, something radical, something brand new, something no one has ever tried anywhere in the world - equality. Isn't that a wonderful idea? Can you just imagine? Wverybody - men, women, children, everybody! - getting on better and being happier because they've all got equality.
So that is the gift that everybody is going to be opening from me this year - and WE wish you you a merry Christmas. And when I say WE, I am of course referring to the Women's Equality Party.
Give equality this year!
Here's how poor we are as a party... I didn't have money for a crown, but we did have a collection bucket, and I'm going to use that as my crown. It doesn't fit very well, and probably ought to have money in it...
