After growing up by the English seaside Sarah studied at Cambridge, where she wrote articles and film reviews. Today she lives in London and contributes to xoJane.com whilst working in tuition. Her internships have taken her fom film sets to Penguin Books UK. Areas of interest to her include sexuality, education and human rights.

In her free time, Sarah mentors young people through Scoliosis Association UK and supervises scripts for independent films.
