After graduating from University with a degree in Social Science Simon joined the Burton Group (now the Arcadia Group). Working there for 15 years he worked in a number of brands including Top Man, Evans and Burton in a wide variety of commercial roles, and on leaving was the Merchandising Director of Dorothy Perkins.

Simon then moved to Uniqlo, part of the Japanese Fast Retailing Group as the UK CEO, spearheading its growth in the UK over the next 4 years. During this time Simon spent a lot of time travelling both to Japan and the US to help the global growth of the Uniqlo brand.

He then joined as the UK General Manager of The Body Shop in November 2011. Over the last year he has been fully engaged re launching The Body Shop in the UK under its “Beauty with Heart” umbrella, refurbishing its store portfolio and increasing both its social media and online presence. Simon firmly believes that the partnership with The Teenage Cancer Trust is the perfect example of a business being a force for good, and fully supports one of the 5 key values of The Body Shop in activating Self Esteem.
