Siraj Datoo is an award-winning political commentator and also writes about technology, media and business. He was the first to write about the attempted use of molotov cocktails at the 2011 student protests and has written about a number of breaking stories.

While completing his undergraduate in French with International Studies at the University of Warwick, he felt students had no outlet from which to express their opinion and, in 2010, founded The Student Journals, an online magazine that gives students a platform to convey their individual opinion. TSJ also gives students opportunities such as interviewing personalities and reviewing theatre.
