Sophie J Turton is a British blogger and freelance feature writer. She worked for several years as an editor and International journalist in The Czech Republic and China. While in China Sophie had a weekly column in Shanghai Daily, Shanghai's only English speaking newspaper and was the Arts and Urban Editor for Shanghai247.

Sophie has written for several publications, including The Brighton Argus, In Our Words, Planet Ivy, New Woman Magazine and Hopps Magazine. She co-founded PSA Magazine, an online creative community based in Shanghai, and was the Editor in Chief for an internal Disney publication. Sophie also works in PR and marketing and is currently on the PR team for a TEDX project based in London.

Additionally, Sophie has organised several outreach projects in China and Sri Lanka and takes an avid interest in Asian cultures, using this as material for much of her work.
