Last Saturday I had the pleasure of attending Digital Sizzle 6 organised by a company called 3 Beards who host the remarkably popular staple of the London startup calendar Silicon Drinkabout. The event was held in the fantastic location of the rooftop of the Southbank Centre.
The entire event oozed tech from the eventbrite registration, to the iZettle payment system and the £25 Über voucher. It was a great showcase of the talent, expertise and energy in London.
Over the course of the evening I spoke to some fantastic entrepreneurs working on a diverse range of ideas from technology to move local government to the cloud, to easier solutions for creating online communities and even an app to make meeting people at drink events easier!
The evening was a clear sign of the growing health of London tech ecosystem and it's ability to sustain a thriving culture. Here's to the next one!
