1. Post visible strong suggestions

Design your own suggestions and post them around the house, in the car, and at work. Suggestions are straightforward statements that will motivate you to lose weight. Examples may include the words 'FAT OFF NOW' or 'Stop - Look - Listen Before eating'. The key is to design suggestions that state what you need to embed into your mind so that you eat less, eat better, and move more. Your suggestions can be either written or visual. Do what works for you.

2. Photograph the future wardrobe

Clothes are a massive motivator for those looking to lose weight so take photographs of the clothes you will be slipping into as your weight drops. Put these photos in places where you will see them regularly. As you look at them, allow the positive sense of what life will be like feeling more glam and standing tall having lost the unwanted weight.

3. Go naked in the mirror

Each day stand naked looking at yourself in a full length mirror. Tell yourself that you are now in control of food and that you are loving your body as it shrinks down to achieve a healthy weight. Make sure you do this smiling so that the whole experience is positive and motivational. Turn up the power of motivation and positive attitude inside your mind as you affirm the control over food and the enthusiasm about your fat free future.

4. Talk to the food

As you look at food, mentally tell it that you are now the boss. In other words you now have the control, you decide what you eat, and how much of it you will eat. Imagine your mind soaking up the full control over food and the new found power to eat less. Go one step further and see, hear, and feel the word 'CONTROL' burying itself deep into your mind.

5. Sit safely and focus

Find somewhere safe to sit in a comfortable seat and close your eyes. Mentally count down from ten to one noticing with each descending number that you are becoming one tenth more calmly focused. When you reach number one, play a movie inside your mind of you having lost the unwanted weight. Let the movie give you a motivational boost. Having played the movie, count up from one to ten. Then finally open your eyes and move on with a feeling of positivity.

6. Create a mind aversion

Deliberately observe fat people on the street and let their habits mentally motivate you away from a life of fat. Remember to judge the habit and not the person. Also, look at visual realities of being too fat online. For example view online videos about the potential health consequences of being too fat such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

7. Act as if.....

Start acting as if you have already lost the unwanted weight and carry out the habits of someone that is already slim. This will help your mind recondition itself so that you eat less, eat better and move more.
