Sue Thomason is founder of Beautiful, the only glossy women’s magazine in the UK dedicated to body diversity and healthy self image. She has worked as a broadcaster for ITN and for 20 years as a journalist on national women’s magazines. An obsessive information seeker, Sue spent two decades researching into the causes of overeating, fat and negative body image, which led to her developing coaching courses for women who suffer with disordered eating. Sue is worked with the Government's All Party Parliamentary Group on Body Image and the Central YMCA and their inquiry into the causes and consequences of body image anxiety in the UK and she is also involved with Ditching Dieting, psychotherapist Susie Orbach’s latest Endangered Bodies campaign.
