When the Government published its aviation policy framework in draft form, it asked the right questions about noise, air quality and climate change, but the final version fails to deliver on these. It is disappointing that so few of the recommendations we and others made have been taken up by the Government.

Tomorrow us Londoners have to choose who will be our Mayor for the next four years. As a green I wish Jenny Jones was heading for a huge victory but I am realistic and know that a strong vote for green candidates in the London assembly is probably the best we can hope for this time around.

With Boris Johnson as Mayor of London, I believe we would be gambling with the environmental wellbeing for future generations. The time for comedy interviews and PR stunt has ended, let's elect a Mayor ready to listen to people not big business.
