As with The-Last-Days-of-Disco, the glitterball that was analogue TV has stopped spinning and, in the very worst form of collateral-damage, the music stopped for Ceefax too - RIP British Technology.

Despite its flaws and despite that, next to the speed and efficiency of the internet it now seems laughably slow and inefficient, like an elderly turtle on barbiturates, I shall miss Ceefax.

I have not used Ceefax in at least 10 years, and after today, I never will be able to again because it is going away. To make an inside joke, if you were to go to page 606 now, you would find it to be completely blank, a fact that has somewhat unnerved me.
