Body sculpting, has fascinated me for a long time - and that was way before Jodie Marsh popped up on our screens looking all honed and toned. And now with Olympic fever gripping the entire nation, I know I'm not alone in being jaw-droppingly fascinated by the scores of athletic bodies adorning our TV screens.

I grow a few acres of asparagus on my farm in Kent and this year I have looked on helplessly as the asparagus first sulked underground in the rain and cold, refusing to grow at all and then shot up faster than we could pick it as soon as the sun came out. With this small taste of the unpredictability of farming life, my respect for our farm shop partners grows and grows.

I am a huge fan of chia seed. Chia is an ancient superfood staple of the Incan, Mayan and Aztec cultures which means means 'strength' in Mayan so it is not surprising that they have earned the nickname 'Indian Running Food'.
