I was first bitten by the vintage bug in 1983, borrowing my grandma's 60s kitten heeled sling backs - they had toes so pointed you could have impaled anyone you kicked. I carefully borrowed a few of grannie's pieces - mostly shoes, jewellery and handbags to add to my puff ball skirts, explosive hair and wrist to elbow silver slave bangles.
I loathe jeans shopping. Hatehatehate it. If they fit on the waist they don't fit round my thighs, if they fit round the waist and the thighs, chances are they look like mega flares from the knee down and being a short-arsed 5'2" I have to turn everything up anyway so I have no business with unnecessary material.
You can never go wrong with a grey t-shirt! So a grey t-shirt with a peplum hem? Match made in heaven! But I'm not going to lie, I wasn't so sure this would fit me all right at first. For t-shirts, I usually opt for v-necks as it suits me better, but for the price (a mere £13 quid) and fit, I thought to myself - well, why not give it a go?
