It's week two of the Fringe! We survived the 7 ½ hour van ride up here from London (actually two of us came by train - in first class - but we'll let you guess which two), we survived the previews and our first reviewer *cough* 5 Stars *cough* and while it's hardly stopped raining, we've decided to look at the weather through an Instagramed eye.
Over the next five weeks we'll be keeping a weekly account of our 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival experience - bringing you ringside insight into the biggest arts festival IN THE WORLD (insert evil laugh).
Rita wishes to present her convulsing body as art to an audience, and ultimately, through this, to herself. She is a dancer, has trained for years to control and express herself through the medium of her body and the way in which it moves. When she experiences seizures, her body moves, but in a way in which she cannot control.
It is mid-January 2012 and many of us have made the obvious realisation that our New Year's resolution to 'get fit and lose those Christmas puddings is just plain not going to happen. Well, not without that ludicrously expensive gym membership you convinced yourself you should invest in on the first day back from holiday and most likely will stop using in the next few weeks.
