I am 21 years old and have been the Students’ Union President for 2011/2012 and was the Vice President for a year before that.

I have been involved as the FE member on the Union Development
Zone of NUS for two years as well as an advocate for FE and Small, Specialist involvement in NUS at every level. In Norwich, I led several campaigns to defend EMA and our 16-19 Norfolk transport subsidy, as well as working heavily on our campus to improve the Student Experience and students as “partners” in education, not as consumers.

I am currently running to become the first FE Officer elected as the Vice President of Union Development, fighting to bring Unity to the disparate parts of NUS.

Tomorrow is the start of the National Conference of the National Union of Students. 1,500 delegates will vote in next year's teams of officers.
