Thomas started his management career with Arrow Electronics in Frankfurt in 1995, before joining Mars Inc as Sugar Business Development Manager in the UK in 1997. In 2000, Thomas became General Operations Manager at 1&1 Limited, co-ordinating the brand’s launch in the UK that same year.

In 2003 Thomas became Chief Operating Officer of 1&1 Internet Inc. Whilst in this role, he successfully launched the company in the US raising the customer profile and significantly increasing market share. Thomas was responsible for all operational and financial aspects of all 1&1 Internet’s international subsidiaries and, in 2005, Thomas became President, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of 1&1 Internet Inc before joining GX Networks in 2007.

After co-founding three high growth, profitable operating divisions, Thomas became MD of GX Network’s Hosting divisions (formerly Pipex Hosting) in September 2007. Since his arrival at Webfusion Thomas has continually optimised process efficiency, grown revenue and margins whilst maximising profitability through expert operations, sales and staff development.

With a BA and MBA in International Management from Franklin College in Switzerland and Long Island University in New York respectively, Thomas has a wealth of practical and academic international business experience.
