Toby Earle is a TV critic who regularly appears on Sky and BBC television and radio, as well as Channel 5, ITV, and Channel 4.

He wrote for What's on TV and TV easy for several years, and is the former presenter and script editor of the BSME nominated Soap Scoop, an online round-up of soap storylines.

He has also been a Bafta jury member and a judge at the Broadcast awards.

And, yes, that remote control is surgically attached to his hand.
