The Best Songs of 2013, So Far...

While the "Best Albums" list I published earlier in the week had a lot of familiar names, I've found my collection of favorite songs to be a bit more obscure. Far from the big advertising budgets of a band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, bands like Pins make brilliant music, just waiting to be heard by the masses.

I'll be honest, we find a lot of our new bands by listening to songs that cross our path on SoundCloud. It doesn't matter if you recorded it in your bedroom and you don't have an album out yet. If it's good, I'll fall in love at the drop of a hat. Thus, here is my lengthy list of the best songs that I've heard in 2013.
