Tom Flanagan is one of Australia’s youngest leading acrobatic clowns.
A graduate of the internationally renowned circus school, The Flying
Fruit Flies; Tom started tumbling, twisting, flying and falling at the
age of six.
Working with many internationally renowned companies include Circus
Oz, CIRCA and Legs on the Wall, Tom has performed at festivals and
venues around the world, collecting accolades including Argus Angel
and Star of the Festival Award. Tom was a founding member of sell-out Edinburgh hit, Tom Tom Crew touring with them throughout Australia, Europe and the UK.
This is Tom’s fifth Edinburgh Fringe, but after performing with
ensembles and companies for the past twenty years, Tom created KAPUT, his first solo show for the 2012 Adelaide Fringe where it was
nominated for Best Circus & Physical Theatre performance.
Tom specializes in acrobatics, slapstick and making people laugh!
