Kate Garraway Lines Up Personal Trainer To Help Lose Baby Weight - How Annoying...

GMTV presenter Kate Garraway has announced she has lined up a personal trainer to help her lose weight after she gives birth to her second child.

She's only seven months pregnant and already she's planning the diet and exercise regime?

When I was seven months pregnant my overriding priority was to see how many cheese sandwiches I could eat in one day. And Ben 'n' Jerry's share prices soared.

But, according to the Daily Mail, Kate is already lining up a trainer from fitness programme The Biggest Loser, the ITV show she has just finished filming, which features overweight contestants trying to lose weight in a bid to win money.

She told Closer magazine: "I've asked them if they'll help me. They do such amazing things on the show and tailor their workouts to fit you perfectly.

"I think it would be great to have someone telling me exactly what to do to get back in shape."

It's a different world, isn't it? Since giving birth four months ago I have been concentrating on stumbling through the day with my eyes open.

Okay, I confess, I have been out running. A total of four times so far. It's not just the lack of energy, it's the lack of time.

Losing weight is just not a massive priority for me right now – looking after my baby is more important. My excuse is that you're not supposed to diet when you're breastfeeding...

It must be a lot easier if you hire a nanny to look after the baby, and a cleaner to sort the house out, and a personal trainer to whip you into shape. But where's the fun in that?

Celebrities banging on about their obsession with weight loss doesn't help anybody. It's just annoying for those of us who live in the real world.
