Actor Hank Azaria and his girlfriend Katie Wright welcomed their first child on Saturday, June 6: a boy they've named Hal.
The baby came a little early, but both Katie and her son are doing well, PEOPLE reports.
"He was premature but he's healthy and strong," Azaria's rep Stan Rosenfield says. "Everyone is very happy."Azaria, who currently appears in 'Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian,' has been dating Wright for two years. Azaria was previously married to actress Helen Hunt, whom he divorced in 2000.
The actor prepared for the birth of his son by studying everything from birthing techniques to proper diapering. "Oh my God, we're taking classes," Azaria told PEOPLE in an earlier interview. "Hypnobirthing, where a woman can learn to reduce the pain by hypnotizing herself... And we're taking a child raising class, a baby holding class, a baby diapering class, and everything!"
The voice of countless 'Simpsons' characters admits that he also engaged with his unborn son by hamming it up in the direction of his girlfriend's belly.
"We pump a lot of Beatles music into the womb. I get inspired to talk to him like John Lennon occasionally," Azaria said. "He seems to like it, he gets very kicky when I talk this way."Source - PopEater
