MAKEUP: Georgina Graham for MAC

HAIR: James Pecis for Bumble & Bumble

SNAPSHOT: Delicate Gothic

THE SCOOP: Felder Felder was launched by identical twin sisters Annette and Daniela Felder in 2006, while the two were studying at Central Saint Martins. Since then, the label has become synonymous with the young, rock and roll-aesthetic, and the clothes are regularly worn by Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Florence and the Machine and Allison Mosshart. Backstage, we spotted Jaime Winstone, Pixie Geldoff and Roisin Murphy - all very directional fashionistas. The Felder sisters are "intrigued by opposites" and have a distinctive way of combining contrasting textures and colours. For a/w, the sisters were inspired by Winona Ryder in Dracula. But, as makeup artist Graham said, "We wanted to go gothic, but didn't want it to be too harsh in that Tim Burton kind of way." Instead, Graham opted for "summer makeup in a winter palette."

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: Graham used MAC Prep & Prime Face Protection as a base, and buffed it into the skin. "It has a slight lavender hue," said Graham, "which gives a lovely ethereal, almost dewy finish." On the eyes, different shades of yellow were used. "We went for caramel shades because we wanted to make a statement without it being too harsh." Lips were painted with a brand new Lipglass shade: "We're using a colour called 'Blackberry," said Graham. "It's really fresh, but still dark enough for the look we want."

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: It was all about a natural, dry textureand about "bending" rather than waves or curls. Thickening spray was spritzed through all models hair, and worked through sections using fingers - no brushes or combs were used at all. Depending on the thickness of the hair, grooming creme was also used, as well as braiding the under sections of the hair to create deceptive thinness.
