Legging It: Why Are We So Insecure About Our Pins?

Do you dread baring you legs? Photo: Mama Mio

With curvy style icons like Adele and Crystal Renn and size zero obsessions well and truly OVER, you'd think we have finally got to a place where we can embrace our bodies. Not so, apparently. And perhaps more bizarrely - we've taken issue with legs.

New research from skincare brand Mama Mio has found that more than half of us hate our pins. After interviewing thousands of women, the research revealed that UK women's confidence factor is just 20 out of 50 when it comes to flaunting their legs on the beach.

Over the course of the summer, Mama Mio will be giving away product prizes to women who get involved with their Summer Confidence challenge on Facebook or enter their body confidence poll.

And if you want to give your legs a little TLC, Mama Mio recommends Lucky Legs, a mini spa treatment that adds a subtle shimmer to slim the appearence of your legs. MyDaily readers can get £5 off with exclusive voucher code "killerlegs". Click here to get lucky.

Offer is valid until 31 May 2011.
