Radio 1 presenter Fearne Cotton launched her first self-selection makeup range in Boots earlier this year, complete with 'It's all about lips' glosses in every shade and shimmering powder eye shadows. MyDaily caught up with Fearne to hear more about the new lines she is adding to the range and to find out a few of her beauty secrets.

Tell us about the collection, what are your favourite pieces?
We've got the all year round pieces (the eyeshadows, the lip glosses and the nail polishes) but my favourites are the shower and body range, the funky nail art and the cute travel sets which are all new to the collection.
You've got quite an edgy style, but how would you describe your beauty look?
I would say it's messy girly; my hair is usually messy and I wear lots of smudgy eye makeup. I go to town more in the evenings, maybe I'll get a curl put in my hair.
What are the three products you always keep in your makeup bag?
A chunky black eyeliner is a must but I also love good mascara, maybe a Lancôme one and a good lip balm from Burt's Bees.
Is there a look you would love pull off, but haven't dared to try yet?
There's a bright blue eye powder in the collection that I'd love to try. It's for the girls that a brave enough to wear that colour! I love the bronze shade, it's so easy to wear.
Who is your beauty icon?
Debbie Harry still looks amazing, she's still got that pretty but punky look going on. My mum is also a big inspiration to me.
What's been your biggest beauty disaster?
I have them all the time! I once went to a foam party when I was a teenager and ended up looking like Alice Cooper with black makeup all down my face. I'd forgotten to wear waterproof makeup. I'm sure there will be loads more to come too, like lipstick on my teeth. I'm a clumsy person!
What are the top beauty tips you've learnt?
Always wear SPF sun cream - I use a 30 SPF moisturiser and another one is always remember to take your makeup off at the end of the day to give your skin a bit of a break.
Which celeb look do you love at the moment?
I love Chloe Sevigny's look - particularly when she has a bright, coral lip colour worn with minimal eye makeup. She either does eyes or lips which I love and she's quite brave with her style but she still looks natural.
The Fearne Cotton makeup range is available exclusively in Boots stores nationwide now.
