Adele, PJ Harvey and Elbow will battle it out for the Mercury Prize in September after the nominations were announced in London on Tuesday morning.
Adele receive a nod for '21', the biggest-selling record of the year so far, while Harvey has received a nomination for 'Let England Shake', which has been a massive hit with the critics. Harvey won in 2001 for her album 'Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea'
