Nicole Kidman Undergoes Transformation For New Role In The Paperboy, With John Cusack, Zac Efron, Matthew McConaughey

Nicole Kidman Transformed For New Role - Does This Mean Another Oscar?

Nicole Kidman is UNRECOGNISABLE in her current garb - that of a peroxide blonde with a look that harks back to the days of Hollywood blonde bombshells.

The A-list actress, usually known for her red tresses, has transformed herself for her role in The Paperboy, in which she plays a woman who writes to men on death row.

The last time Kidman transformed herself completely was to play Virginia Woolf in the 2001 film The Hours. Her completely unglamorous makeover, including a prosthetic nose, helped win her a Best Actress Oscar.

The Paperboy, currently being shot on location in New Orleans, also stars John Cusack, Matthew McConaughey and Zac Efron, but it is Kidman's new look causing heads to turn - her blonde hair and suntan causing some onlookers to mistake her for fellow actress Charlize Theron.
