Melissa George used to be one of the stalwarts of Home And Away, but she proved she's taken a further large step out of Aussie soapland with this British pursuit thriller - what's being billed as "frightening, uncompromising and brutally realistic" (not so different from Summer Bay after all?)
George plays the leader of a group of mountaineers, climbing in the Scottish Highlands in preparation for an Eiger ascent later on. If they get that far... The discovery of a small child buried in a chamber on the mountain leads to them to face elements more challenging than the mountain.
A Lonely Place To Die is the Closing Night film at FrightFest and is released in cinemas on 7th September 2011 by Kaleidoscope Entertainment.
