Amy Winehouse: Goddaughter Dionne Bromfield Reveals Star Was 'At Her Best' Just Days Before Death

Dionne Bromfield Reveals Amy Winehouse's Last Days Were 'Her Best'

PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Amy Winehouse's goddaughter Dionne Bromfield has claimed the late star was at her happiest before she died.

Bromfield, who was being mentored in her singing career by the Back To Black singer, told BBC Radio 1 Winehouse was "fine" just days before her death.

She said: "The last time I saw her she was fine, I think that was the best time I've ever seen her. I've done a song called Get Over and she was in the corner crying."

She went on: "It's such a shame to know she was at her best moment and three days later she was gone."

In the week before she died, Winehouse had joined Bromfield on stage at Camden's Roundhouse, and Bromfield told Scott Mills she was still coming to terms with Winehouse's death.

She said: "I still don't believe it, it's not sunk in."
