PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Zooey Deschanel has made her name as a movie star - but the actress is relishing her move to the small screen.
The 500 Days Of Summer actress stars as Jessica Day in comedy series New Girl, which is set to hit US TV screens next month.
"It's so much fun," she admitted. "I wake up every day excited to go to work."
Speaking at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest movie, Our Idiot Brother, she enthused about her "awesome" experience on the set of the show.

She said: "I mean I love the writing, it's a great cast, it's so fun. Everyone's awesome."
The show will see Deschanel's character move in with three single men in a bid to get over being dumped by her model boyfriend.
